Online individual therapy is conducted similarly to in-person session. It has the same potential for effectiveness as in-person interactions. Many clients now prefer this "new" approach to therapy because it saves them a significant amount of time on their commutes and gives them the freedom to keep working with me wherever they are. Clients also feel more comfortable meeting online, especially in the wake of Covid-19. Some may find it comforting to get therapy in the privacy of their own homes.

Walk and Talk


For those who enjoy being outside and being physically active, a walk and a talk is ideal. The client sets their intention, both walk together at their own pace while talking. This session is used to talk about various issues, releasing feelings and negative thoughts, or just to venting or ranting. This process has also proven to be of benefits to clients to train and lose weight.

Movement, being in nature and fresh air allows for better flow of energy. When energy is flowing, it is much simpler to let go of concerns and permit a natural, uninhibited flow of thought to assist in finding solutions. In this state, clients start to have new ideas, whilst the body begins to reduce its stress hormone. This leaves clients feeling a sense of accomplishment.
